The School of Telematics of University of Colima, the National Center for Supercomputing (CNS) IPICYT and General Coordination of Information Technology (CGTI) of the University of Guadalajara will extend a cordial invitation to participate in the 4th International Supercomputing Conference in Mexico (ISUM 2013) that will take place in the port of Manzanillo, Colima from 5 to 8 March 2013
This event is held in coordination with the National Committee formed by various institutions.
Manzanillo is one of the municipalities and county seat from the state of Colima, Mexico. It is the principal seaport of Mexico's Pacific coast and is one of the main beach resorts in the country.
Manzanillo is also known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World" because of two world records set in 1957 and 1979 as part of the sport fishing tournament of this kind. This tournament is held every year and has become one of the most representative of sport fishing in Mexico and the world. Because of this, sailfish has become an icon of Manzanillo, so ISUM in 2013 is the main image of the event. The host hotel of the conference is the Hotel Barceló Karmina Palace Deluxe 5 star hotel with extensive facilities for the development of the event and with a spectacular architecture inspired by Mayan temples.
The activities of the 4th International Conference on Supercomputing in Mexico (ISUM 2013), involve conferences, publication of posters, workshops, exhibitions technological, and workshops on the most important and pioneering regarding supercomputing and scientific visualization, where Speakers will expose a wide range of knowledge and technological developments in the field.
Who should attend?
Researchers, students, academics, technologists, administrators and datacenter hardware and software providers interested in high performance scientific computing and scientific visualization.
Why should you attend?
The ISUM 2013 promises to be an excellent forum where you can share the work done in the field of research with the use of supercomputing or High Performance Computing (HPC) among this community, presenting technological trends and scientific applications that bring support in the generation and implementation of knowledge in various areas , in addition to a platform for the exchange of knowledge in the area to give continuity to the work of interagency collaboration using first world computational tools.
